Petersburg
Petersburg is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Boone County, Kentucky.
Petersburg is located at the site of Tanner's Station, an outpost founded before 1790. In 1791, Petersburg was a candidate for the site of the new state's capital; however that Petersburg was located in Woodford County, Kentucky.
